Job Description
For over 50 years, Kniaziew Optometry has been a leader in eye care across southwestern Ontario. We are excited to offer a full-time Associate Optometrist position within our Chatham-Kent team.

This role provides competitive compensation, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, and a supportive, collaborative environment designed for long-term growth. Whether you are an experienced clinician or a recent graduate, this is an opportunity to build your career while making a meaningful impact across a dynamic and growing region.

Why Chatham-Kent?
Chatham-Kent is one of Ontario’s most welcoming and diverse communities, known for its strong sense of connection, rich agricultural roots, and beautiful blend of small-town charm and modern convenience.

Stretching from Lake Erie shoreline to the Thames River, the region offers an incredible mix of natural beauty and lifestyle balance. Residents enjoy easy access to beaches, conservation areas, trails, and scenic rural landscapes, all while being part of a community that genuinely supports local businesses and healthcare.

Chatham-Kent is also a place where relationships matter. Patients value continuity of care, trust their providers, and appreciate personalized service. It’s the kind of community where you can quickly build long-term patient relationships and truly see the impact of your care.

Beyond the clinic, the area offers a relaxed but vibrant lifestyle including local farmers’ markets, community events, growing food and dining options, and a strong arts and culture presence across the region.

Chatham-Kent also serves as a hub for surrounding communities, meaning clinicians may occasionally provide care in neighbouring satellite clinics throughout the region to ensure patients have convenient access to eye care services.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome new graduates as well as experienced optometrists seeking a meaningful change. If you are passionate about patient care and want to grow within a supportive, high-performing team, you will thrive here.

Ready to Make an Impact?
Join a practice with a long-standing tradition of excellence and become part of a team that is shaping the future of eye care in Chatham-Kent.
